The HDD-6000 is a 6TB surveillance hard drive for CCTV recorders (NVRs and DVRs).

Surveillance drives are built to record all day, every day, from several cameras at once. A normal desktop drive isn't designed for that and tends to fail early. They also run cooler and quieter.

6TB suits systems with more cameras, higher resolutions or longer recording times. As a rough guide, it gives around 21 to 42 days of continuous recording from a 4 camera system, or 15 to 24 days from 8 cameras at 1080p recording on motion.

It fits the standard 3.5 inch bay in most recorders. Check your recorder's maximum drive size before ordering, and make sure the drive is screwed in firmly, as vibration shortens its life.
