Description
This is a 6.0 Megapixel 8 camera IP CCTV system by Dahua, that is three times the resolution of 1080P High Definition!
The cameras are what we call Turret cameras, these are very easy for installing, easier than the traditional glass dome that is - you simply
remove the base attach it to the ceiling or wall and then put the rest of the camera back on the base and point it in the required direction as you do.
Night Vision
The cameras provide amazing image quality in full colour during the day and when it gets
dark the camera will automatically switch over to night vision mode - where it can see in total darkness up to 50 metre's.
Indoor or Outdoor Use
The Cameras are IP67 rated, meaning they are suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, and are quite small in size - so although not "covert", they can certainly be classed as discreet cameras that will blend in to most properties nicely.
Built in Audio
These cameras have a built in microphone - so unlike most cameras - not only can you record excellent video footage but you also have the option of recording audio from every camera.
SD Card Recording
Another great feature with these cameras is the possibility to fit it with a micro SD card (not included) up to 128Gb to enable local
emergency recording on the camera itself - as well as the NVR. Perfect if intruders damage or take your NVR, you could still have that vital
footage.
Easy Installation
On top of the better than HD resolution, this is a PoE (Power over Ethernet) System. That means if the cameras are connected
directly to the PoE ports on the rear of the recorder - they do NOT need a power supply, but will be powered directly from the NVR.
This has many benefits, not least it can make installation extremely easy as all you need to do is run 1 Ethernet cable from each
camera to the recorder. Be aware PoE has a maximum working distance of 100 metre's.
The cameras can be mounted on a wall or ceiling and then pointed in the desired direction.
Internet / SmartPhone
All of our Dahua systems can be connected to your router and configured so you can remote view them over the internet from a PC /
Mac or even your iPhone / Android.
PC / Mac software usually comes on a CD with the DVR or can always be downloaded from the
Dahua website here - called Pro Surveillance Software (PSS).
For your iPhone or Android phone you can visit your app store and download iDMSS (itunes) or gDMSS (android store).
Watching the Footage
Apart from viewing your system over the network or internet, the NVR also has a VGA and HDMI output meaning you could connect
a computer monitor (VGA) and / or HD TV (HDMI) directly to the NVR. If required, using the options above, you can add a HD or VGA Monitor to your
system.
When viewing your footage on one of these monitors you can select multiple views including one camera full screen and a split
view of all cameras at once.
