Description

The Hikvision DS-2CD6362F-IVS is a 6megapixel (3072 x 2048) fisheye lens camera. The camera can provide a massive 360° coverage when installed on a ceiling and an impressive 180° super wide angle coverage when wall mounted. As with most fisheye cameras, it is always best to install on high ceilings for best coverage and these cameras are IP66 weatherproof, so can be installed indoors or outdoors - they are even IK10 rated to protect against vandalism!

This camera can be set to different "Modes" - see full spec sheet for more info - which allows several different viewing modes, like a full 6MP 360° or you can also split several views within that one image into multiple video streams so you could keep an eye on several different areas of a room with just one camera.

Please be aware for the above multiple view modes to work you can not connect the camera directly to the PoE ports on a hikvision NVR - you would instead connect the camera to a switch and log into the camera directly to set up the modes. You can then use one of the hikvision DS-77XX NVRs on the same network to record all these different views as separate video feeds (please note this is not possible with the DS-76XX range).

The camera can be powered over Ethernet (PoE) for quick and easy installation as long you have a PoE enabled switch / router.

The DS-2CD6362F-IVS also has built in IR light which enables the camera to see up to 15 metres in complete darkness.

On top of the standard model, this "S" version has audio/alarm I/O connectors.
