PTZ stands for Pan, Tilt, Zoom - these cameras can rotate horizontally, tilt up and down, and zoom in optically, all remotely from your phone or NVR. A single PTZ camera can cover an area that might otherwise need three or four fixed cameras, making them well suited to car parks, large yards, industrial sites, and open public spaces.
Our PTZ range includes models with optical zoom from 4x up to 25x, with IR night vision ranges up to 100 metres - powerful enough to identify faces or number plates from a significant distance. Auto-tracking models detect and follow moving subjects automatically - particularly useful for unmonitored sites. All PTZ cameras in our range are IP PoE, connecting to your NVR over ethernet.
If you need long-range fixed coverage rather than pan and tilt, bullet cameras are a simpler and more cost-effective option. See our CCTV buyers guide for more on choosing the right camera type.

Preset patrol routes allow your PTZ camera to automatically scan specific areas at set intervals - useful for sites that need to monitor multiple areas without a dedicated operator. You can also set auto-tracking so the camera follows a detected person or vehicle across the site. Compatible Hikvision NVRs support full PTZ control and preset configuration.
Our TandemVu models from HiLook include both a PTZ lens and a fixed overview lens in one unit, giving you a wide-angle context view and a detailed zoom view simultaneously. Browse IP CCTV systems for complete matched kits.
