The Hikvision DS-2CD2366G2H-IU-B is the black-housing variant of the 6 megapixel AcuSense DarkFighter fixed turret network camera, offering identical imaging and analytics performance in a discreet dark finish suited to installations where a lower-profile camera appearance is preferred. The camera uses a 1/2.4" progressive scan CMOS sensor with an F1.0 aperture and delivers a maximum resolution of 3200 x 1800, making it a capable choice for professional outdoor surveillance with strong low-light performance and AI-driven alarm management.
DarkFighter technology enables colour imaging down to 0.001 Lux, ensuring useful footage in near-darkness before the IR illuminator takes over. The built-in IR illuminator provides effective coverage to 30 metres in complete darkness, with automatic day/night switching via an IR cut filter ensuring optimal image quality across all lighting conditions. The wide 114.8-degree horizontal field of view at 2.8mm makes it particularly well suited to wide-angle coverage of open spaces, car parks, building facades and entranceways.
AcuSense perimeter protection analytics classify detected objects as human or vehicle, triggering alerts only for relevant targets and filtering out false alarms from animals, environmental motion and lighting changes. Line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting detection modes are all supported. The built-in microphone adds real-time audio capture capability, enhancing situational awareness and evidential value.
120dB wide dynamic range ensures clear imaging in high-contrast scenes, and H.265+ compression keeps bandwidth and storage requirements low. On-board microSD storage is available up to 256GB with ANR support. The IP67-rated housing is suitable for outdoor use across a temperature range of -30 degrees C to 60 degrees C, and the camera is fully ONVIF compliant for straightforward integration with compatible recording and management systems. Powered via PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12VDC.
