About the DS-2CE78H0T-IT3FS-G
The Hikvision DS-2CE78H0T-IT3FS-G is the grey housing variant of the DS-2CE78H0T-IT3FS, a 5MP audio fixed turret camera for Turbo HD analogue systems. Identical in specification to the white version, the grey housing is specified where the installation surface or environment calls for a darker camera finish - against dark ceilings, concrete columns, timber soffits or any surface where a white housing would be visually prominent or aesthetically mismatched.
Like the white version, the key advantage of this model over a standard IR turret is the integrated audio over coaxial capability. The built-in microphone transmits audio back to a compatible Hikvision DVR over the existing coaxial video cable, removing the need to run a separate audio cable. In retail units, office environments, reception areas or any commercial space where audio recording forms part of the security specification, this single-cable audio solution is significantly cleaner than adding a separate microphone and audio cable run.
The 5MP CMOS sensor delivers 2560 x 1944 resolution with EXIR smart IR illumination up to 40 metres. The mechanical ICR day/night filter switches automatically from colour to monochrome IR imaging as light levels drop. The 2.8mm lens provides an 85.5° horizontal field of view, suitable for entrances, corridors and open areas. TVI frame rates include 5MP at 20fps, 4MP at 25/30fps and 1080p at 25/30fps, with AHD, CVI and CVBS also supported via the 4-in-1 switchable output. Digital WDR, BLC, HLC and 2D DNR manage image quality across varied lighting conditions.
Powered by 12VDC at a maximum of 3.7W and controlled via Hikvision-C coaxial protocol, the grey turret housing measures Ø109.82 x 91.03mm and weighs approximately 300g. IP67 rated, operating from -40°C to 60°C with full pan, tilt and rotation adjustment for flexible installation from any mount position.
