The Hikvision DS-2CD2347G3-LIS2UY-SL is a 4 megapixel Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu 3.0 active deterrence fixed turret network camera, combining 24/7 full-colour imaging with deep learning perimeter protection and an integrated active deterrence system featuring a white strobe light and audible alarm. Designed for professional outdoor surveillance where intruder deterrence is a primary requirement, the camera adds a powerful proactive response capability to its advanced imaging and analytics platform.
At the heart of the camera is a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor with an F1.0 super-aperture lens and HikAI-ISP image signal processor, delivering a maximum resolution of 2688 x 1520 with minimum colour illumination of just 0.0001 Lux. ColorVu 3.0 technology ensures vivid, full-colour footage is maintained throughout the night without switching to monochrome, providing forensically useful imagery at all times. HikAI-ISP noise reduction further enhances image quality in demanding low-light conditions.
The Smart Hybrid Light illumination system integrates both white light and IR illuminators with three configurable lighting modes, providing up to 30 metres of supplemental illumination. When a perimeter protection event is triggered, the active deterrence system fires the built-in white strobe light and activates the audible alarm to warn off potential intruders before an incident escalates. This visible and audible response is a proven deterrent, adding a proactive security dimension to what would otherwise be a passive recording system.
Built-in two-way audio via the integrated microphone array and speaker enables remote verbal challenges to be issued directly from a control room or monitoring station in real time, further enhancing the deterrence capability. Audio and alarm interfaces (1 in, 1 out each) allow integration with external devices such as sirens, lighting or access control systems for a fully co-ordinated security response.
Deep learning perimeter protection covers line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with human and vehicle classification to reduce false alarms from irrelevant motion. Scene-adaptive WDR handles high-contrast lighting. The camera is rated to IP67 and NEMA 4X anti-corrosion standards, and supports on-board microSD storage up to 512GB with ANR. Power is via PoE 802.3at (Class 4, max 17W) or 12VDC, and the camera is fully ONVIF compliant.
