The Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1-4P is a 4-channel AcuSense 4K Network Video Recorder with 4 built-in PoE ports, designed for compact professional IP camera installations. Part of the K Series Pro NVR range, it combines plug-and-play camera connectivity with deep learning AcuSense analytics, H.265+ compression, and 4K HDMI output in a compact 1U desktop housing. The (D) designation confirms support for the full range of AcuSense deep learning intelligent functions including facial recognition, perimeter protection and Motion Detection 2.0.
Four independent 10/100 Mbps PoE Ethernet interfaces provide plug-and-play connectivity for up to four IP cameras without the need for a separate PoE switch, simplifying installation significantly. The NVR accepts IP video inputs up to 12MP resolution, with an incoming bandwidth of 40 Mbps and outgoing bandwidth of 80 Mbps. H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 video compression formats are supported, with H.265+ capable of reducing storage requirements by up to 75% compared to standard H.264, extending effective storage life considerably.
AcuSense technology delivers deep learning-based intelligent analytics directly at the recorder, including Motion Detection 2.0 across all channels, facial recognition for video stream on 1 channel or face picture comparison on 2 channels, and perimeter protection for human and vehicle classification on 1 channel at up to 4MP. Smart search and smart playback functions allow operators to search recorded footage by target type, greatly reducing the time required to locate specific events compared to conventional timeline-based review.
Video output is via simultaneous HDMI and VGA, with HDMI supporting up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 30Hz for sharp live and playback viewing on a 4K monitor. Decoding capability with AI active is 1-ch at 12MP, 1-ch at 8MP, 3-ch at 4MP or 6-ch at 1080p. A single SATA interface supports one HDD of up to 10TB capacity for local recording storage, with 4-channel synchronous playback. TLS stream encryption provides secure remote access. Two USB 2.0 ports are provided for backup and peripheral connection.
The unit operates from 100-240VAC and consumes under 15W without HDD or PoE load. Its compact 1U form factor makes it well suited to small commercial and professional residential installations where space is limited but performance cannot be compromised.
