The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS-B is the black housing variant of the DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS, a 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu fixed turret camera for Turbo HD analogue systems. Functionally identical to the white version, the black housing is selected where a dark camera finish is needed to suit the mounting surface or match an aesthetic requirement - dark ceilings, painted concrete, timber structures, or commercial and industrial environments where a white camera would be visually conspicuous.
The Smart Hybrid Light system is the defining capability of this model: it carries both an IR illuminator and a white light illuminator, each covering up to 40 metres, with the ability to operate in IR-only mode (monochrome night vision), white light-only mode (full-colour night vision) or automatic switching between the two. This gives the installer - or the end user via DVR menu - the flexibility to choose the right illumination approach for their site, without needing to specify a separate camera for each use case. It is the appropriate choice for installations where preferences around colour night vision versus discreet IR imaging may change over time, or where different zones of a single site require different approaches.
The 3K CMOS sensor resolves 2960 x 1665, and the 2.8mm lens provides a wide 110° horizontal field of view. A built-in microphone with audio over coaxial (AOC) capability provides audio recording without the need for a separate cable run, with a pick-up radius of up to 5 metres. The solid white light alarm output provides a visual alert function triggered by DVR alarm events. ICR day/night switching, Digital WDR, BLC, HLC and 2D DNR round out the imaging capability. All four analogue HD signal formats - TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS - are supported and switchable from a single unit.
The black turret housing is IP67 rated, measures Ø109.98 x 98.27mm and weighs approximately 320g. Power consumption is a low 5.2W from a 12VDC supply, with Hikvision-C coaxial control for remote menu access. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 60°C, and full pan, tilt and rotation adjustment allows flexible camera aiming from any mount position.
