The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF0T-LFS is a 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu fixed turret camera for Turbo HD analogue systems, combining both IR and white light illumination in a single unit with built-in audio via a coaxial connection. The Smart Hybrid Light system is the standout feature of this model: rather than committing to either IR-only or white light-only illumination, it gives the installer and end user complete control over the lighting mode - operating in full-colour white light mode, traditional IR monochrome night mode, or fully automatic switching between the two depending on the scenario and preference. Both IR and white light reach up to 40 metres, making this a highly versatile camera for mixed-use sites.
The 3K CMOS sensor delivers 2960 x 1665 resolution - a step up from 1080p and 4MP, providing noticeably more detail across a wide field of view. The 2.8mm fixed focal lens offers a broad 110° horizontal field of view, suited to covering open areas, car parks, building approaches and wide indoor spaces. An ICR (IR cut filter) is fitted for day/night switching, enabling accurate colour reproduction in daylight and clean monochrome IR imaging at night when the camera is set to IR mode. When operating in white light mode, full-colour footage is maintained in very low light conditions down to 0.001 Lux.
The built-in microphone supports audio transmission over coaxial cable using the Hikvision-C AOC (Audio over Coaxial) protocol, with a pick-up radius of up to 5 metres. This removes the need for a separate audio cable run, simplifying installation on analogue systems where audio is required - whether for evidence capture, compliance recording or integration with a DVR that supports audio-triggered recording. The solid white light alarm output enables the camera to be used as a visual deterrent, triggering its white light in response to alarm events.
The camera supports all four major analogue HD signal formats - TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS - switchable from a single unit, providing broad DVR compatibility. TVI frame rates include 3K at 20fps, 4MP at 25/30fps and 1080p at 25/30fps. Digital WDR, BLC, HLC and 2D DNR handle challenging lighting and noise reduction. Image mode switching between STD, HIGH-SAT and HIGHLIGHT gives installers control over colour saturation and exposure handling.
Powered by 12VDC at a low 5.2W and communicating via Hikvision-C coaxial protocol, the camera is housed in a compact IP67-rated turret body measuring Ø109.98 x 98.27mm and weighing approximately 320g, with a plastic enclosure over a metal main body. The operating temperature range extends from -40°C to 60°C, ensuring reliable year-round outdoor performance. Full pan, tilt and rotation adjustment provides flexible positioning from any mount point.
