The Hikvision DS-2CD2387G3-LIS2UY-SL-B is the black-housing variant of the 8 megapixel Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu 3.0 fixed turret network camera, offering identical performance specifications in a discreet black finish suited to sites where a low-profile aesthetic is preferred. The camera is built around a large 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor with a full 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution output and an F1.0 aperture lens, designed for professional CCTV installations where image quality, active deterrence and deep learning analytics are all required.
ColorVu 3.0 technology provides vivid full-colour imaging around the clock, achieving minimum illumination of just 0.0005 Lux in colour mode, and effectively zero lux when the integrated white light illuminator is active. The advanced F1.0 super-aperture lens collects substantially more light than standard optics, ensuring clear, usable colour footage in low-light conditions without relying on high-powered external lighting. The HikAI-ISP processor delivers excellent noise reduction, preserving fine detail across a variety of challenging lighting scenarios.
The Smart Hybrid Light system integrates both IR and white light supplemental illumination in a single unit, with three configurable lighting modes to match operational requirements. The effective illumination range extends to 30 metres. In the /SL configuration, white light strobing acts as a visible deterrent when triggered by a perimeter event.
Deep learning-based perimeter protection analytics cover line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, with detection targeted specifically at human and vehicle classifications to reduce false alarm rates. On-board microSD storage accepts cards up to 512GB, with ANR ensuring continuous recording integrity across network dropouts.
The all-metal housing carries IP67 weatherproofing and NEMA 4X anti-corrosion certification, making it appropriate for coastal, industrial and other demanding outdoor environments. PoE (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4) or 12VDC power input is supported, and the camera is fully ONVIF compliant (Profile S, G, T) for integration into third-party VMS platforms.
