The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K2-16P is a 16-channel AcuSense 4K Network Video Recorder with 16 built-in PoE ports and dual HDD bays, designed for mid-to-large professional IP camera installations that demand expanded camera capacity, on-board deep learning analytics and high-density local storage. As the 16-channel step-up from the 8-channel K1 series, it doubles both the camera inputs and PoE ports, increases incoming bandwidth to 160 Mbps, adds a second SATA bay for up to 20TB of on-board storage, and benefits from the enhanced (D) deep learning processor for significantly improved decoding and analytics performance.
Sixteen independent 10/100 Mbps PoE interfaces provide plug-and-play camera connectivity across the full channel count, with each port supporting IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. No external PoE switch is required, simplifying installation and reducing rack or cabinet space. All 16 channels accept IP cameras up to 12MP resolution, with 160 Mbps incoming and 160 Mbps outgoing bandwidth ensuring smooth simultaneous recording and remote access across every channel. H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 compression are fully supported, with H.265+ cutting storage requirements by up to 75% versus H.264.

The enhanced decoding engine supports 2-ch at 12MP, 3-ch at 8MP, 6-ch at 4MP or 12-ch at 1080p simultaneously with AI active, and up to 2-ch at 12MP, 4-ch at 8MP, 8-ch at 4MP or 16-ch at 1080p with AI off. Video output is via independent 4K HDMI (up to 3840x2160/30Hz) and 1080p VGA, supporting 16-channel synchronous playback.
