About the Hikvision 5MP 2-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit
This 2-camera kit is the value entry point to our Hikvision PoC range: two DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE 3K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets with the iDS-7204HUHI-M1-PXT AcuSense PoC DVR. The pitch to a client is simple, and so is the install: every BNC input delivers Power over Coax, the KF3T-LSYE is a PoC.at camera, and each position needs one RG59 run carrying video, audio, and power together. No camera-end PSUs, no second cable, and a front-and-back domestic or small shop fit that comes in comfortably under a day. It is the same single-cable logic as our 4K CVA kits at a keener price point.
The step down from the 4K kits is resolution only, not features. The 3K sensor resolves 2960 × 1665, a clear improvement over 4MP and 1080p systems, and it sits behind the same F1.0 ColorVu optics rated to 0.0005 lux, so full-colour night footage under ambient light is standard rather than a premium extra. Smart Hybrid Light gives each camera 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR with constant, covert, and auto modes, true 130 dB WDR handles bright doorways and glazing, and the built-in microphone sends audio down the coax with a 5 m pickup radius, so both channels record synchronised sound. The housings are IP67 rated with anti-corrosion protection equivalent to NEMA 4X.
The M1 recorder is well matched to these cameras: it records 3K at 12 fps on every channel, so both cameras run at their native resolution class with nothing wasted. AcuSense deep learning classifies people and vehicles on all channels to keep false alerts down, with up to 4-channel perimeter protection and 2-channel facial recognition. H.265 Pro+ compression, a SATA bay up to 12 TB, 2K HDMI with simultaneous VGA, and Hik-Connect remote access complete it.
Two spare PoC channels remain for future cameras, and up to 8 IP channels at 8MP are available for hybrid additions. Supplied without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-rated HDD to suit retention. Available with black cameras, and see our 4K CVA kits where maximum resolution is the priority.
