Four DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE 3K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets and the iDS-7204HUHI-M1-PXT AcuSense PoC DVR: the classic four-corner system at the sharpest price in our PoC range. All four BNC inputs deliver PoC to the PoC.at cameras, so the whole job is four single-cable RG59 runs with no power supplies at any camera position and no shared PSU as a single point of failure. On takeovers of existing coax installs, that turns a full ColorVu upgrade into a straightforward one-day visit, which is exactly what makes this configuration such a reliable quote-winner on domestic and small commercial work.

The cameras deliver far more than their price suggests. The 3K sensor at 2960 × 1665 clearly outresolves the 4MP and 1080p systems it typically replaces, the F1.0 ColorVu aperture holds colour to 0.0005 lux, and true 130 dB WDR, the same specification as the 4K flagship, keeps faces readable against bright sky and glazed shopfronts. Smart Hybrid Light provides 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR per camera in constant, covert, or auto modes, and the built-in microphones put synchronised audio on all four channels straight over the coax. IP67 sealing with NEMA 4X equivalent anti-corrosion protection covers exposed and coastal elevations.

Recording is handled sensibly for the money: the M1 encodes 3K at 12 fps on every channel, matching the cameras' resolution class across the board. AcuSense classifies people and vehicles on all channels, with up to 4-channel perimeter protection and 2-channel facial recognition. H.265 Pro+ keeps storage lean, the SATA bay takes up to 12 TB, and 2K HDMI, VGA, and Hik-Connect cover local and remote viewing.

All four analogue channels are used, with up to 8 IP cameras at 8MP available over the network for positions beyond coax reach. Supplied without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-rated HDD sized to the retention you need. A black camera version is also available, and the 4K CVA kits sit above this range where resolution is the deciding factor.
