About the Hikvision 5MP 2-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit in Black
The black edition of our most affordable PoC kit: two DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE-B 3K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets in a black finish with the iDS-7204HUHI-M1-PXT AcuSense PoC DVR. It suits the properties where white cameras jar, dark render, timber cladding, black soffits, and period frontages, without moving the price beyond an entry-level budget. Installation is the range's trademark single-cable job: every BNC input carries PoC, the camera is a PoC.at device, and one RG59 run per position delivers video, audio, and power with no camera-end supplies anywhere.
The dark housing pairs naturally with how these cameras are usually configured. Set to auto or IR mode, a black turret under a soffit draws little attention, and when the 40 m white light fires the effect is all the more striking for it. Behind the finish sits the full specification: 2960 × 1665 resolution from the 3K sensor, F1.0 ColorVu optics holding colour to 0.0005 lux, true 130 dB WDR for backlit doorways, and a built-in microphone with a 5 m pickup radius sending audio down the coax on both channels. IP67 sealing and NEMA 4X equivalent anti-corrosion protection keep the black finish presentable through UK weather and coastal exposure.
The M1 recorder records 3K at 12 fps on every channel, a proper match for these cameras with nothing throttled, and runs AcuSense human and vehicle classification on all channels alongside up to 4-channel perimeter protection and 2-channel facial recognition. H.265 Pro+ compression, a 12 TB SATA bay, 2K HDMI with VGA, and Hik-Connect remote access finish the recorder.
Two spare PoC channels and up to 8 IP channels at 8MP leave room to grow. Supplied without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-rated HDD to suit retention. The same kit is available with white cameras, and in 4K as the black CVA range.
