The Hikvision DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE is a 3K Smart Hybrid Light ColorVu fixed turret camera for Turbo HD analogue systems, combining high-resolution colour imaging, dual-mode Smart Hybrid illumination, built-in audio over coaxial, and an anti-corrosion housing - making it one of the most fully featured turret cameras in the Turbo HD range. It is designed for demanding outdoor environments where the combination of flexible illumination, audio capability and long-term housing durability are all required on the same installation.
The Smart Hybrid Light system gives the installer complete control over the illumination mode: IR only for traditional monochrome night vision, white light only for full-colour night vision, or automatic switching between the two based on ambient conditions. Both IR and white light illuminators reach up to 40 metres, making this camera effective across a wide range of deployment scenarios. The ICR (IR cut filter) provides accurate colour in daylight and clean monochrome imaging in IR night mode. In white light mode, the F1.0 aperture and ColorVu technology deliver colour footage down to 0.0005 Lux - very close to complete darkness.
The 3K CMOS sensor resolves 2960 x 1665, delivering noticeably more detail than 1080p and 4MP cameras across the wide 105° horizontal field of view of the 2.8mm lens. Image quality is backed by 130dB true Wide Dynamic Range and 3D/2D DNR - significantly better than the Digital WDR found in value-tier models - ensuring clear, usable footage across strongly backlit scenes such as gated entrances, shopfronts and parking areas. Frame rates include 3K at 20fps, 4MP at 25/30fps and 1080p at 25/30fps in TVI mode, with slow shutter up to 16 times for low-light sensitivity in static scenes.
The built-in microphone transmits audio over coaxial cable (AOC) to a compatible Hikvision DVR, with a pick-up radius of up to 5 metres, removing the need for a separate audio cable run. The anti-corrosion housing construction provides improved durability and longevity in coastal, industrial and high-humidity environments compared to standard camera housings — equivalent to NEMA4X protection. The 4-in-1 switchable signal output (TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS) ensures compatibility with virtually any analogue HD DVR, and Hikvision-C coaxial protocol allows remote on-screen menu access and configuration.
Powered by 12VDC and housed in a compact IP67-rated turret body measuring Ø109.98 x 98.27mm, the camera operates reliably from -40°C to 60°C. Full pan, tilt and rotation adjustment allows flexible positioning from any mount point.
