About the DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE
The DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE is a Hikvision 3K (5MP) ColorVu turret camera for HD-TVI (coax) CCTV systems. It has a built in microphone and can be powered over the coax cable from a compatible PoC DVR.
3K (2960 x 1665) is sharper than 4MP and 1080p, and the 2.8mm lens gives a wide 105 degree view.
ColorVu means it keeps a colour picture in very low light. When it gets properly dark, it has a 40m white light and a 40m infrared light. You can run it on infrared only, white light only, or let it switch automatically.
It copes well with bright backgrounds such as windows (130dB WDR). The microphone picks up sound within about 5m and sends it down the coax with the video. Audio requires a DVR that supports Audio over Coax (AoC). The camera can also be switched to work with AHD, CVI or analogue recorders (video only), and the housing is weatherproof (IP67) and corrosion resistant.
Important: this camera can be powered over the coax cable (PoC) and send audio down the same cable (AoC), but to use both together your DVR must support both features. On Hikvision recorders, look for models ending in "PXT". If you're not sure whether your recorder is compatible, give us a call on 01902 213 999 and we'll check for you.
