About the Hikvision 5MP 4-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit in Black
The HPOC412-5MP-CVA-B is a Hikvision 4 camera HD-TVI (HDoC) CCTV kit. It comes with a 4 channel DVR and four black turret cameras. As with all our kits, you can add cables, hard drives and a monitor as you need them.
The cameras capture 3K (5MP) video, which is sharper than the 4MP and 1080p cameras found in most kits at this price. The 2.8mm lens gives a wide 105 degree view.
These are ColorVu cameras, so your night footage is in colour rather than black and white. Each camera has a 40m white light and a 40m infrared light. You can run them on infrared only, on white light only, or let the camera switch to white light when it detects someone.
Each camera has a built in microphone and copes well with bright backgrounds such as windows and doorways. The housings are weatherproof and corrosion resistant, so they're fine outdoors and near the coast.
Power, video and sound all run down one coax cable from the DVR, so you don't need a power supply at the cameras. All 4 channels on the DVR are used.
The DVR records 3K at 12 frames per second. AcuSense filters out alerts caused by rain, leaves and animals, so you're only alerted to people and vehicles, and it can recognise faces on 2 channels. It takes one hard drive of up to 12TB (not included). You can watch live, play back footage and get alerts on your phone with the free Hik-Connect app.
