About the HiLook 4MP TandemVu 2-Camera IP CCTV Kit
This HiLook by Hikvision kit brings together two PTZ-N2D400M-DE-14 4MP TandemVu IP pan/tilt cameras and one NVR-104MH-C-4P 4-channel PoE NVR to deliver wide coverage, close-up control and simple plug-and-play setup. TandemVu means each camera actually houses two lenses - a fixed wide overview plus a controllable pan/tilt lens - so you can keep situational awareness while zooming in on what matters.
Important: each TandemVu camera outputs two separate video feeds (overview + PT), so each camera uses two NVR channels. With two cameras in this kit, you’ll use all four channels on the NVR-104MH-C-4P - even though there are only two physical cameras and just one PoE cable per camera. The benefit is four distinct viewpoints from only two camera bodies, keeping installation neat while maximising coverage.
Both cameras record at 4MP for sharp detail and use Smart Hybrid Light to deliver colour-at-night when motion is detected, switching intelligently between IR and warm light. Human/vehicle classification helps reduce false alerts, and the pan/tilt mechanism supports Auto Tracking Lite - so the camera can automatically follow moving subjects for improved coverage and easier evidence review. With an IP66 weather rating, they’re built for year-round outdoor use.
The NVR-104MH-C-4P features four built-in PoE ports for true plug-and-play, supports up to 8MP inputs for headroom, and uses H.265+ compression to stretch recording time on your chosen HDD. Hook up via HDMI/VGA for local viewing, and use the HiLookVision app or client software for reliable remote access, playback and export.
