About the HiLook 5MP 32-Camera IP CCTV Kit
This is the full house: 32 cameras on a 32-channel recorder, using every channel the HiLook HL-NVR-232MH-K-16P Pro Series NVR has to offer. It is the kit for sites that need eyes everywhere, warehouses, schools and colleges, car parks, farms, holiday parks, and business premises spread across several buildings. Every one of the 32 IPC-T250H-MU turret cameras records sharp 5MP video with a built-in microphone capturing audio alongside, so incidents anywhere on site come with sound as well as pictures.
Because you are filling all 32 channels, it is important to understand how the system connects before ordering. The NVR has 16 built-in PoE ports, so the first 16 cameras are genuinely plug and play: connect each to the back of the recorder and it is powered, added, and recording with no configuration at all. The remaining 16 cameras are handled by a PoE switch, available as an option in 8-port or 16-port versions for the best flexibility. No switch is included as standard, so please select one when ordering unless you plan to use your own. The 16-port covers all sixteen remaining cameras from a single switch, while the 8-port suits installations where some cameras will run from existing network infrastructure or a switch you already own. Both versions have two Gigabit uplink ports: the NVR's LAN port connects to one uplink, and the second uplink connects to your router or existing network so remote access is maintained. Cameras 17 to 32 plug into the switch and are then manually added to the NVR by their IP addresses. This second half of the installation is not plug and play, it requires some networking knowledge, being comfortable finding camera IP addresses and adding devices through the NVR menus. Once running, the NVR is well up to the job of managing 32 streams. A generous 256 Mbps of incoming bandwidth comfortably handles every camera at full quality, and H.265+ compression reduces storage consumption by up to 75%, vital at this scale. The two SATA bays take drives up to 16TB each for a 32TB maximum, and Motion Detection 2.0 across all channels, backed by human and vehicle recognition, keeps searching and notifications manageable rather than overwhelming. Smart search lets you jump straight to activity in a chosen area of any camera's image instead of trawling through footage, and the free HiLookVision app puts live view, playback, and push alerts for the whole site on your phone.
The cameras themselves are dependable workhorses: 120dB true WDR for doorways and loading bays where bright light meets shade, EXIR night vision to 30m in complete darkness, and IP67 rated metal housings that handle UK weather without complaint. The white finish suits soffits, ceilings, and lighter walls across most commercial and domestic buildings. Back in the office, a true 4K HDMI output gives you a superb 32-camera overview on a large screen, with independent VGA for a second display.
