About the HiLook 5MP 24-Camera IP CCTV Kit
The HLIP2442-5MP-M is a HiLook by Hikvision 24 camera IP CCTV kit. It comes with a 32 channel NVR and twenty four white 5MP metal turret cameras. As with all our kits, you can add cables, hard drives and a monitor as you need them.
The cameras capture 5MP video with a wide 98 degree view from the 2.8mm lens. Infrared night vision reaches up to 30m in total darkness, and they cope well with bright backgrounds such as windows (120dB WDR).
Each camera has a built in microphone, so you get sound with your recordings. The metal housings are weatherproof (IP67) and each camera is powered over a single network cable.
The NVR has 16 built in PoE ports, so the first 16 cameras plug straight in and set themselves up. The other 8 connect through a PoE switch, which you can add to the kit as an option when ordering. A switch isn't included as standard, so pick one unless you're supplying your own. Cameras on the switch are added to the NVR by their IP address.
The NVR records up to 12MP per channel and takes 2 hard drives of up to 16TB each (not included). H.265+ compression keeps file sizes down, so the drives last longer before they overwrite. With 24 cameras fitted, there are still 8 channels spare. You can watch live, play back footage and get alerts on your phone with the free HiLookVision app.
