Six DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE-G ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets in grey on the 8-channel iDS-7208HUHI-M2-PXT AcuSense PoC recorder. This is the mid-size kit for larger homes and small commercial premises finished in today's palette: anthracite frames, grey composite doors, aluminium fascias, and rendered elevations that a grey camera complements rather than interrupts. Every camera is powered over its own coax straight from the DVR, and because the 8-channel PoC platform is rated for eight AT cameras, this six-camera configuration leaves two spare PoC channels for future positions with no extra power provision needed.

Moving to the M2 recorder brings the encoding these cameras deserve: full 8MP at 8 fps on all channels rather than one, with 3K at 12 fps where smoother motion is the priority. Twin SATA bays accept up to 12 TB each, H.265 Pro+ keeps six 4K streams manageable on disk, and the AcuSense suite runs human and vehicle classification on every analogue channel, with up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection, 4-channel facial recognition, and 8-channel AcuSearch for rapid target-based playback. Hik-Connect delivers remote live view, playback, and push alerts.

The cameras are the same flagship hardware as the rest of the range in a grey shell: F1.0 ColorVu optics holding full colour at 0.0005 lux, true 130 dB WDR for glazed entrances and mixed-light forecourts, and Smart Hybrid Light with 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR configurable per camera, so covert perimeter coverage and visible entrance deterrence can run side by side. Built-in microphones record synchronised audio over the coax on all six channels, and the IP67, NEMA 4X certified housings keep the finish sound on exposed and coastal sites.

Up to 16 IP cameras at 8MP can be added over the network for hybrid jobs. Supplied without hard drives, so add one or two surveillance-rated HDDs to suit the retention period. The same kit is available with white or black cameras.
