About the Hikvision 4K 8-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit in Grey

Eight grey DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE-G ColorVu turrets on the iDS-7208HUHI-M2-PXT, filling the 8-channel AcuSense PoC platform to capacity. This is complete-coverage security for modern properties and premises, executive new builds, offices with aluminium glazing systems, and retail units where the fit-out is grey and the cameras should be too. The recorder powers all eight AT-mode cameras over their own coax runs, so the whole system needs eight single-cable legs and one socket at the recorder, with no power supplies at any camera position and nothing extra to fault-find.

Across all eight positions the cameras deliver the full ColorVu specification: F1.0 optics rated at 0.0005 lux for round-the-clock colour, true 130 dB WDR for entrances and forecourts mixing shade with bright glazing, and Smart Hybrid Light giving each camera its own choice of 40 m white light, 40 m IR, or IR patrol with event-triggered white light. Built-in microphones stream synchronised audio down the coax on every channel, a feature increasingly requested on commercial and licensed premises, and the IP67, NEMA 4X housings hold their grey finish through weather and salt exposure.

The M2 records the cameras properly: 8MP at 8 fps is available on all eight channels simultaneously, with 3K at 12 fps as the alternative. Twin SATA bays at up to 12 TB each give an eight-stream 4K system real retention, helped by H.265 Pro+ compression. AcuSense classifies people and vehicles on every channel, with up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection, 4-channel facial recognition, and 8-channel AcuSearch making footage review quick. Hik-Connect covers remote access, with 4K HDMI for the local monitor.

Beyond the analogue channels, up to 16 IP cameras at 8MP can join over the network for outbuildings and gate positions. Supplied without hard drives, add surveillance-rated HDDs to suit retention. White and black camera versions of this kit are also available.
