About the DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE-G
The DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE-G is a Hikvision 4K (8MP) ColorVu turret camera in grey for HD-TVI (coax) CCTV systems. It has a built in microphone and can be powered over the coax cable from a compatible PoC DVR.
At 4K it captures four times the detail of 1080p, which is the highest resolution in Hikvision's coax camera range. The 2.8mm lens gives a wide 105 degree view. It's a good way to get IP level detail while keeping existing coax cabling.
ColorVu means it keeps a colour picture in very low light. When it gets properly dark, it has a 40m white light and a 40m infrared light. You can run it on infrared only, white light only, or let it switch to white light when it detects someone.
It copes well with bright backgrounds such as windows and doorways (130dB WDR). The microphone picks up sound within about 5m and sends it down the same coax cable as the video. On a Hikvision PoC DVR the camera is powered down the coax too, otherwise it runs from a standard 12V supply. The housing is weatherproof (IP67) and corrosion resistant.
Important: this camera can be powered over the coax cable (PoC) and send audio down the same cable (AoC), but to use both together your DVR must support both features.
