About the Hikvision 5MP 10-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit
Ten DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE 3K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets on the 16-channel iDS-7216HUHI-M2-PXT AcuSense PoC recorder. This kit brings the value 3K tier to bigger sites, commercial premises, schools, farms, car parks, and larger estates, where a ten-camera 4K system may be more budget than the job needs but colour night vision and recorded audio are still on the brief. All ten cameras run entirely over PoC: the KF3T-LSYE is a PoC.at (AT mode) device and the 16-channel recorder supports up to 12 AT cameras, so every position is powered down its own coax with headroom to spare and no local power supplies on the install.
PoC power planning: Hikvision's 16-channel PoC recorders power a maximum of 12 AT-mode cameras, even though they record 16 channels. The ten cameras in this kit are all PoC powered, but only two further AT cameras can be added on PoC. Any expansion beyond 12 AT cameras requires local 12 VDC power supplies for the additional cameras, which are not included in this kit and are available separately, so plan power provision before quoting extra channels. The recorder encodes 3K at 12 fps across the channels, and its twin SATA bays at up to 12 TB each go noticeably further with 3K streams than with 4K ones, so retention targets are easier to hit on a sensible drive budget. AcuSense motion detection 2.0 runs on all analogue channels, separating people and vehicles from foliage and headlight noise, with up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection, 4-channel facial recognition, and AcuSearch pulling targeted events out of a big archive in seconds. Hik-Connect covers remote access, with HDMI and VGA at the monitor position.
Across all ten positions the cameras deliver F1.0 ColorVu optics rated at 0.0005 lux, Smart Hybrid Light with 40 m white light and 40 m IR in constant, covert, or auto modes, true 130 dB WDR, and built-in microphones streaming audio over the coax. The 3K sensor at 2960 × 1665 comfortably outresolves the 4MP systems this kit replaces, and the IP67, NEMA 4X equivalent housings hold up on exposed, coastal, and agricultural elevations. Up to 32 IP cameras at 8MP can be added over the network. Supplied without hard drives, so add surveillance-rated HDDs sized to the retention period. A black camera version is also available, with the 4K CVA range above for maximum-detail briefs.
