About the Hikvision 5MP 8-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit

Eight DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE 3K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets filling the iDS-7208HUHI-M2-PXT AcuSense PoC recorder. This is full-coverage security at the value end of the PoC range for larger homes, retail units, and light commercial sites: eight positions of colour night vision, recorded audio, and smart detection, on eight single-cable coax runs. The 8-channel PoC platform is rated for eight AT cameras and the KF3T-LSYE runs in AT mode, so every camera draws its power from the recorder with nothing else to wire, fuse, or fault-find.

Specification-wise the cameras give very little away to the 4K tier. The F1.0 aperture and ColorVu sensor hold full colour at 0.0005 lux, Smart Hybrid Light provides each camera with 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR in constant, covert, or auto modes, and true 130 dB WDR, identical to the flagship, deals with entrances that mix deep shade and bright glazing. The 3K resolution of 2960 × 1665 keeps detail usable across wide scenes, and the built-in microphones put synchronised audio on all eight channels over the coax, a feature retail and licensed premises increasingly expect. IP67 sealing and NEMA 4X equivalent anti-corrosion protection complete the housings.

The M2 records 3K at 12 fps across all eight channels, with twin SATA bays at up to 12 TB each and H.265 Pro+ making an eight-stream system economical on disk. AcuSense classifies people and vehicles on every channel, with up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection, 4-channel facial recognition, and 8-channel AcuSearch cutting review time on a site this size. Hik-Connect handles remote access.

Up to 16 IP cameras at 8MP remain available over the network for outbuildings and gates. Supplied without hard drives, add surveillance-rated HDDs to suit retention. A black camera version of this kit is also available, and the 4K CVA kits sit above where resolution is the priority.
