Six black DS-2CE72KF3T-LSYE-B 3K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets on the 8-channel iDS-7208HUHI-M2-PXT AcuSense PoC recorder. This is the discreet mid-size system for licensed premises, dark shopfronts, and larger homes with black joinery, six positions of colour night vision and recorded audio that sit quietly against dark architecture rather than announcing themselves. Every camera powers over its own coax from the DVR, and with the 8-channel platform rated for eight AT cameras, two spare PoC channels remain for later additions with no extra power provision.

The cameras concede nothing but resolution to the 4K tier, and even then the 3K sensor at 2960 × 1665 delivers a clear step up from the 4MP systems most six-camera budgets land on. F1.0 ColorVu optics hold colour to 0.0005 lux, true 130 dB WDR manages glazed frontages and roller doors, and Smart Hybrid Light gives each camera 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR in constant, covert, or auto modes, so a black camera can patrol invisibly and light its scene only when it matters. Built-in microphones record synchronised audio over the coax on all six channels, and the IP67, NEMA 4X equivalent housings keep the black finish sound on exposed and coastal sites.

The M2 records 3K at 12 fps on all channels, with twin SATA bays at up to 12 TB each and H.265 Pro+ keeping storage costs modest. AcuSense classifies people and vehicles on every analogue channel, backed by up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection, 4-channel facial recognition, and 8-channel AcuSearch for rapid targeted playback. Hik-Connect covers remote viewing and push alerts.

Up to 16 IP cameras at 8MP can be added over the network for hybrid work. Supplied without hard drives, so add one or two surveillance-rated HDDs to suit retention. Also available with white cameras, or in 4K as the black CVA kit for maximum-detail briefs.
