This 4-camera kit fully populates a 4-channel PoE NVR with HiLook IPC-D149HAA-LU 4MP ColorVu 3.0 vandal domes, giving complete coverage of a typical home or small commercial unit from a single tidy recorder. The headline draw is the cameras' 0.0005 Lux colour performance, delivered by the F1.0 super-aperture lens and ColorVu 3.0 sensor, which turns dark driveways and yards into clear, true-colour footage where older systems would only manage black-and-white blur.
Four vandal domes let you cover the front, rear, and both side aspects of a property, or the entrance, shop floor, stockroom, and rear access of a small business. The IK08 housing resists impact and tampering and the IP67 rating handles weather year-round, while three-axis adjustment makes each camera quick to aim precisely during install.
Smart Hybrid Light intelligently mixes IR and warm white light to 30 m so footage stays in colour when it matters, and Motion Detection 3.0 filters alerts down to people and vehicles to cut nuisance notifications. A built-in microphone on each camera records audio with the video, useful context when reviewing an incident.
With all four PoE ports in use, installation stays clean: one cable per camera carries power and data, the NVR auto-adds the cameras, and H.265+ compression keeps storage demands low. HDMI and VGA outputs handle local monitoring, and the HiLookVision app delivers remote live view, playback, and instant alerts.
A note on dome cameras: vandal-proof domes like these are a great choice for high-risk areas where a camera might be tampered with or struck. Do keep in mind, though, that they need more maintenance than a turret or bullet camera because of the glass dome. The dome can suffer from IR reflecting off dust or tiny scratches that are invisible to the human eye, and this can seriously affect night vision. With those "scratches" in mind, be extra cautious during installation: keep the dome clean and do not let the glass lid drop down and touch the wall while you adjust the lens. As a general rule we advise using turret cameras, unless the area is high-risk, in which case a vandal dome like this is the right tool for the job.
