About the CORE+ 12MP 8-Camera IP CCTV Kit (White)
Eight CORE+ IPC-2120W-HT 12 megapixel turret cameras connected to the HiLook Pro Series HL-NVR-108MH-K-8P 8-channel PoE NVR. This kit fills all eight PoE ports on the recorder, giving you a fully populated system that covers a larger property, multi-access commercial site, or any installation where comprehensive perimeter and internal coverage is required from a single recorder. Every camera connects via a single Cat5e or Cat6 PoE cable, and the NVR discovers and adds them automatically, keeping commissioning straightforward even at this scale.
Eight cameras at 12 megapixels each is a significant leap in total surveillance capability over any equivalent kit using 2MP, 4MP, or 8MP cameras. At 4096 x 3072 pixels per camera, every position in the system captures the detail needed to identify individuals and vehicles reliably, not just record that something was present. A medium-sized business with a car park, perimeter fencing, loading bay, main entrance, and secondary access points can cover all of those zones within this eight-camera deployment. A larger house with extensive grounds, outbuildings, multiple gates, and a long driveway similarly has enough cameras to provide complete coverage without compromise.
The HL-NVR-108MH-K-8P handles all eight channels at 12MP with 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth and decoding capacity up to 2 channels at 12MP, 4 channels at 8MP, or 8 channels at 4MP simultaneously. Running eight cameras at 12MP is within the system's capability with H.265+ compression managing the bandwidth and storage load efficiently. A single hard drive up to 16 TB provides substantial recording retention, and the independent HDMI and VGA outputs allow a main 4K display and a secondary monitor to be driven simultaneously, which is particularly useful in installations where an office or reception area needs its own live view screen separate from a monitoring room or back-office display.
Smart Dual Light across all eight cameras provides 24/7 visibility without gaps. Infrared illumination offers unobtrusive coverage to 30 metres in quiet conditions, and white light activates on motion events for full-colour images and active deterrence at any of the eight camera positions. Motion Detection 2.0 runs in every camera, classifying events as human or vehicle before generating an alert, which is particularly important at this scale: with eight cameras active, a system that triggers on every minor movement would generate an unmanageable volume of notifications. The human and vehicle filter keeps the event feed focused on events that genuinely warrant attention.
Two-way audio at all eight camera positions gives this kit a level of interactive capability that is well matched to the scale of the installation. Eight microphones recording continuous audio across the entire coverage area, with eight speakers available for live voice communication from the Hik-Connect app, means that no area covered by this system is beyond reach of an operator or property manager with a smartphone. Each IPC-2120W-HT has IP67 weatherproofing in a metal housing, a microSD slot for up to 512 GB of on-board recording as backup to the NVR, and a temperature rating from -30 to 60 degrees Celsius. PoE power via IEEE 802.3af simplifies installation to one cable per camera. CORE+ cameras are confirmed compatible with HiLook Pro Series NVRs and are exclusively available from JMC Secure.
