About the iDS-7204HTHI-M1-PXT
The Hikvision iDS-7204HTHI-M1/PXT is a 4-channel 4K AcuSense Turbo HD DVR with Power over Coaxial (PoC) capability, combining the highest resolution available in the Turbo HD range with the convenience of powering PoC cameras directly over coaxial cable. It is positioned at the top of the 4-channel AcuSense DVR range, offering 4K/8MP recording, PoC camera support and the full suite of deep learning smart detection features.
HDTVI encoding supports 8MP (4K) at 15fps, 3K at 20fps, 5MP at 20fps, and full 1080p/720p at 25/30fps, making it fully compatible with any current Hikvision Turbo HD camera. The PoC capability allows compatible cameras to be powered over the same coaxial cable as the video signal - no separate power supply runs are needed at each camera point, simplifying cable routes considerably on both new builds and retrofit projects.
AcuSense deep learning provides Motion Detection 2.0 on all 4 analogue channels, Perimeter Protection (line crossing, intrusion) on up to 4 channels in the advanced model, and Facial Recognition on up to 2 channels with face picture comparison and searchable libraries. Up to 4 or 8 IP cameras (in enhanced mode) can be added alongside the analogue inputs, each up to 8MP. HDMI output supports 4K (3840x2160) at 30Hz, plus simultaneous VGA at up to 1080p.
One SATA bay accommodates up to 12TB. Hik-Connect remote access, ONVIF protocol, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and full network protocol support are standard. 12VDC powered, dimensions 319x235x48mm.
