About the Hikvision 4K 4-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit
Four DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE 4K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets and the iDS-7204HTHI-M1-PXT 4K AcuSense PoC DVR make up this kit, covering the classic four-corner layout of a typical home or small commercial unit with the DVR's channel count used to the full. Every camera is powered over its own coax run direct from the DVR, since all four BNC inputs deliver PoC and the LSYE is a PoC.at camera. That means four single-cable runs, no camera-end power supplies, and no shared PSU to fault-find when one leg goes down. On rewires and takeovers of existing RG59 installs, this configuration turns a full 4K upgrade into a one-day job.
The cameras need little introduction to anyone who has fitted the ColorVu range: F1.0 optics holding colour to 0.0005 lux, Smart Hybrid Light with 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR in constant, covert, or event-triggered modes, and true 130 dB WDR that keeps faces readable against bright backgrounds. Each has a built-in microphone streaming audio down the coax, so all four channels record synchronised sound. The housings are metal-bodied, IP67 sealed, and NEMA 4X certified against corrosion, comfortably specifiable on exposed elevations.
The recorder is where this kit earns its place over cheaper 4-channel bundles. The HTHI is the top-tier 4K unit in the Turbo HD range, encoding full 8MP at 15 fps simultaneously on all four channels, so every camera records at its maximum resolution and frame rate with nothing throttled back. AcuSense deep learning classifies people and vehicles on every channel, cutting false alerts at the recorder with no camera-side analytics needed, and adds up to 4-channel advanced perimeter protection with line crossing and intrusion detection, plus 2-channel facial recognition with searchable face libraries. H.265 Pro+ compression, a single SATA bay up to 12 TB, 4K HDMI plus simultaneous VGA output, and Hik-Connect remote access complete the recorder.
All four analogue channels are used in this configuration, but the HTHI also accepts up to 8 IP cameras at 8MP over the network, useful where a detached garage or gate needs coverage beyond sensible coax distance. Supplied without a hard drive, so add a surveillance-rated HDD sized to the retention you need. Black and grey camera versions of this kit are also available.
