About the HiLook 4MP 6-Camera IP CCTV Kit
This HiLook by Hikvision kit combines six × PTZ-N2D400M-DE-14 4 MP TandemVu IP pan/tilt cameras and one × NVR-216MH-C/16P 16-channel PoE NVR to deliver expansive coverage, high resolution and streamlined installation. The TandemVu design means each camera contains **two lenses** – a fixed wide-angle overview plus a controllable pan/tilt lens – giving dual viewpoints from each unit.
Important: because each TandemVu camera produces two separate video feeds (overview + pan/tilt), each camera uses **two channels** on the NVR. With six cameras in this kit you’ll use **twelve channels** on the NVR-216MH-C/16P – leaving four channels free for potential future expansion while keeping installation tidy and efficient.
The PTZ-N2D400M-DE-14 cameras record at 4 MP resolution for clear detail and employ Smart Hybrid Light for colour-at-night performance when motion is detected. Their pan/tilt mechanism supports Auto Tracking Lite – allowing the camera to automatically follow moving subjects for improved coverage and easier event review. With an IP66 weather rating they are built for robust year-round outdoor use.
The NVR-216MH-C/16P features sixteen built-in PoE ports for direct camera connectivity, supports up to 8 MP camera resolution and uses H.265+ compression to extend your recording capacity. It offers HDMI and VGA outputs for local viewing, and is compatible with the HiLookVision or Hik-Connect apps for remote monitoring, playback and export. This makes the kit a powerful solution for larger installations requiring multiple camera viewpoints and future scalability.
