About the HiLook 4 MP 8-Camera IP CCTV Kit

This HiLook by Hikvision kit brings together eight × PTZ-N2D400M-DE-14 4 MP TandemVu IP pan/tilt cameras and one × NVR-216MH-C/16P 16-channel PoE NVR to deliver wide-spanning coverage with exceptional detail and streamlined installation. With the TandemVu design each camera houses two lenses – a fixed wide-angle overview plus a controllable pan/tilt lens – enabling dual streams from every unit for full situational awareness.

Important: each TandemVu camera outputs two video feeds (overview + pan/tilt) so each camera consumes two channels on the NVR. With eight cameras you’ll be using all sixteen channels of the NVR-216MH-C/16P – giving you sixteen independent views from just eight camera bodies and eight PoE cables, ideal for large systems without excess equipment.

The PTZ-N2D400M-DE-14 cameras capture at 4 MP resolution for crisp images and include Smart Hybrid Light technology so you’ll get colour-at-night when motion is detected. Their pan/tilt mechanism supports Auto Tracking Lite – so the camera can automatically follow moving subjects across its view for enhanced coverage and quicker incident review. With an IP66 weather rating they are built to handle outdoor environments year-round.

The NVR-216MH-C/16P offers sixteen built-in PoE ports so every camera connects directly to the unit with no extra switch required. It supports up to 8 MP resolution inputs, uses H.265+ compression for efficient storage, and provides HDMI/VGA outputs for local monitoring. Remote access via the HiLookVision or Hik-Connect apps means you can stream, playback and export footage with ease. The kit is ideal for expansive sites requiring multiple viewpoints and future-proof capacity.
