About the Hikvision 4K 10-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit
This 10-camera kit moves onto the 16-channel iDS-7216HUHI-M2-PXT AcuSense PoC recorder, paired with ten DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE 4K ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets. It is pitched at commercial premises, schools, car parks, farms, and larger residential estates where full site coverage means going beyond the 8-channel platform. All ten cameras in this kit run entirely over PoC: the LSYE is a PoC.at (AT mode) device, and a 16-channel PoC recorder supports up to 12 AT cameras, so every camera here is powered down its own coax with capacity to spare and no local power supplies on the job.
PoC power planning: Hikvision's 16-channel PoC recorders power a maximum of 12 AT-mode cameras, even though they record 16 channels. The ten cameras in this kit are all PoC powered, but only two further AT cameras can be added on PoC. Any expansion beyond 12 AT cameras requires local 12 VDC power supplies for the additional cameras, which are not included in this kit and are available separately, so plan power provision before quoting extra channels. The 16-channel M2 records 8MP at 8 fps across its channels, with 3K at 12 fps as the alternative, and pairs twin SATA bays at up to 12 TB each with H.265 Pro+ compression to keep a ten-stream 4K system within sensible storage budgets. AcuSense motion detection 2.0 runs on all analogue channels, filtering human and vehicle targets from foliage and headlight noise, with up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection and 4-channel facial recognition on top. AcuSearch makes reviewing a large site practical, pulling person or vehicle events out of multi-terabyte archives in seconds. Hik-Connect handles remote access, with 4K HDMI and VGA for the local monitor position.
The cameras are consistent across the range: F1.0 ColorVu optics rated at 0.0005 lux for round-the-clock colour, Smart Hybrid Light with 40 m white light and 40 m IR in constant, covert, or event-triggered modes, true 130 dB WDR for high-contrast scenes, and a built-in microphone per camera with audio over coax, giving synchronised sound on all ten channels. IP67 and NEMA 4X certified housings hold up on exposed, coastal, and agricultural sites. The recorder also accepts up to 32 IP cameras at 8MP for hybrid expansion where positions sit beyond coax reach. Supplied without hard drives, add surveillance-rated HDDs to suit retention. Black and grey camera versions are also available.
