About the Hikvision 4K 10-Camera ColorVu PoC CCTV Kit in Grey
Ten grey DS-2CE72UF3T-LSYE-G ColorVu Smart Hybrid Light turrets on the 16-channel iDS-7216HUHI-M2-PXT AcuSense PoC recorder, for the larger sites where grey has become the default finish: schools and colleges, business parks, car parks serving modern developments, and commercial estates clad in grey composite panel. All ten cameras run entirely over PoC, since the LSYE-G is a PoC.at (AT mode) device and the 16-channel recorder powers up to 12 AT cameras, so every position here is fed down its own coax with capacity in hand and no local power supplies anywhere on the install.
PoC power planning: Hikvision's 16-channel PoC recorders power a maximum of 12 AT-mode cameras, even though they record 16 channels. The ten cameras in this kit are all PoC powered, but only two further AT cameras can be added on PoC. Any expansion beyond 12 AT cameras requires local 12 VDC power supplies for the additional cameras, which are not included in this kit and are available separately, so plan power provision before quoting extra channels. The recorder encodes 8MP at 8 fps, or 3K at 12 fps, and pairs twin SATA bays at up to 12 TB each with H.265 Pro+ compression, which a ten-stream 4K system will lean on. AcuSense motion detection 2.0 runs on all analogue channels, classifying human and vehicle targets to keep alerts meaningful on a busy site, with up to 8-channel advanced perimeter protection and 4-channel facial recognition on top, and AcuSearch turning hours of multi-camera footage into a seconds-long targeted search. Hik-Connect provides remote access, with 4K HDMI and VGA at the monitor position.
Every camera carries the flagship specification: F1.0 ColorVu optics for full colour at 0.0005 lux, per-camera Smart Hybrid Light with 40 m white light and 40 m IR in constant, covert, or event-triggered modes, true 130 dB WDR for high-contrast scenes, and built-in microphones streaming audio over the coax on all ten channels. The grey housings are IP67 sealed and NEMA 4X anti-corrosion certified, dependable on exposed and coastal elevations. Up to 32 IP cameras at 8MP can be added over the network where positions sit beyond coax reach. Supplied without hard drives, so add surveillance-rated HDDs sized to the retention period. White and black camera versions are also available.
