Dark render, timber cladding, slate detailing, black soffits and guttering, or premises where the client simply wants the security hardware to disappear into the building line: the black housing keeps a low profile while the internals deliver the strongest analogue imaging Hikvision currently offers. Resolution is a full 3840 × 2160, transmitted over standard coax at 4K up to 15 fps via TVI, with 3K at 25 fps and 4MP and 1080p modes available for mixed-recorder estates.
For installers quoting against IP systems, this camera makes the analogue route genuinely competitive. Existing coax stays in the wall, yet the site gains 8MP detail, synchronised audio, and even power over the same cable, since the camera supports PoC.at alongside conventional 12 VDC ±25%. On a compatible Hikvision DVR that means no local power supplies at all, one cable per camera, and a maximum draw of 6.0 W.
Low-light capability is exceptional. The F1.0 aperture and 4K sensor combine for a minimum illumination of 0.0005 lux with AGC on, half that of the 3K models, so colour imaging persists in near darkness. The Smart Hybrid Light array backs this with 40 m of white light and 40 m of IR, selectable between constant white light, IR only, or smart mode where IR runs continuously and white light fires on detection. On a black-bodied camera the smart mode is particularly effective as a deterrent, since the unit sits unnoticed until the moment it lights up.

This is proper multi-exposure WDR, not a digital approximation, and it transforms performance on scenes with severe contrast: shop entrances facing the street, reception areas with full-height glazing, roller shutter doorways, and south-facing elevations. Face AE prioritises exposure on faces within the scene, while BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR handle the remaining edge cases. Four polygon privacy masks and four motion detection areas are programmable through the DVR OSD, controlled over coax via HIKVISION-C.
A built-in microphone captures audio within a 5 m radius and sends it down the coaxial cable with the video, so evidential recordings carry sound without any extra wiring. There is no onboard speaker on this model, so pair it with the LTS series where two-way talk-back is part of the brief. This is the 2.8 mm fixed lens version, covering a 105° horizontal and 132° diagonal field of view on an M16 mount, well matched to entrances and open areas where the 4K sensor keeps pixel density high across a wide scene.
Construction is metal-bodied, IP67 sealed, and certified to NEMA 4X (NEMA 250-2018) for anti-corrosion protection, so the black finish is as durable as it is discreet, suitable for coastal properties, farms, and industrial sites. Operating range is -40 °C to 60 °C, dimensions Ø110 mm × 93 mm, weight approximately 370 g, with full three-axis adjustment at the bracket.
