CCTV Systems

Our complete CCTV systems are available with 2, 4, 8, 16, 24 or 32 cameras, built mostly around Hikvision and HiLook recorders with matched cameras and pre-fitted storage. Every kit comes in one of two formats. IP PoE systems run each camera from a single Cat5e cable that carries both power and data, which makes them the usual choice for new installations. HD over Coax systems reuse existing coax cabling, which makes them the practical route when you are upgrading an older system without rewiring.

As a rough guide, a 2 or 4 camera kit covers the key points of most homes, front door, driveway and rear garden. An 8 camera system suits larger homes or small business premises where you want every approach covered. Our 16, 24 and 32 camera systems are built for commercial sites, from retail units to warehouses and yards. If you are between sizes, it is usually better to choose a recorder with spare channels and add cameras later than to max out a smaller unit on day one.

Every kit ships with a surveillance-rated hard drive fitted and ready to record. How long the system keeps footage before overwriting depends on drive size, camera count and resolution, so if you need a specific retention period, for example 30 days for an insurance requirement, tell us and we will spec the right drive. We supply everything needed to complete the install, whether you are doing it yourself or handing the kit to an installer. Pre-made and cut-to-length cabling, connectors, power supplies, monitors and brackets are all available on our CCTV accessories page, and we are happy to put together a full parts list for your property if you call us with the details.
